Good follow up to concerns
6 months after buying Peugeot 208 from Liverpool branch, I got an out of the blue follow up courtesy call to see if it was OK. Initially thought it was a scam, but he assured me it wasn't and after I noted a few issues that needed attention the guy said he would get service to call me. To make the referral, he needed personal details, which of course I gave, and then never got a call back - put me into a spiral of anxiety and worry and a whole lot of time wasting as I got caught up in their cycle of impersonal call centre unable to confirm the call had come from them. Got through to the Liverpool branch who confirmed they had someone with the name I had been given during the original call, but complete reluctance to follow up with them as to why they never called back - suggested I phoned and asked him myself.
Took the car in and mentioned the inconvenience, worry and anxiety that the call had caused, but still disinterest. Final comment from the service desk was that call came from sales and if you want to complain, 'you'll have to come in a see the sales manager yourself'. When I asked if they would ask the sale manager to call me, they said 'well I can but he probably won't call back so you should just come in yourself'.
Update* I called as requested below and was immediate put through to management who listened carefully and discussed the situation with concern and kindness, and apologised for what I had experienced. I very much appreciate the conversation that we had today and now feel confident to return to the branch for future car maintenance as required. Thank you.

Everything about it was good, smooth talking, explaining everything and the collection time as well, very polite don’t know his name but I think it was Andrew. Yeah very very happy with Stellantis West London (Chiswick) will use again.
