I know used car (and new car) sales-people can sometimes have a reputation as being a little pushy and, occasionally, downright 'in-your-face' from the moment you walk onto the forecourt. When I bought my first 208 in April '16, I was politely asked if I was OK and if I needed any assistance etc. - and that was it. In a good way! In other words, I was left to wander, browse, look at and inspect all the cars on show and then, when I had some questions, the salesman was there to answer them which, for me, was exactly what I wanted. The rest of the buying process was equally quietly efficient, and a few days later, with no fuss or issue, I drove away in my 208, and have not had any problems since then until now - when I traded the 208 for a 308 - and experienced the same kind of unobtrusive service and attention. I entered the show room and Qasim the sales advisor was very welcoming, I wanted to query about a scheme (insure and go) and he was more than willing to help me. The whole experience of ordering a new car from Robins and Day in Croydon was great from start to finish. Dealt with Sam Malpass, Romford. Sam was very patient and helpful. First contact was by telephone, we live over 100 miles away, Sam dealt with all our questions and queries regarding purchase and trade-in, leading to our visit to select a car.
