Recently dealt with Dave the salesman. Hawkins I believe his surname is?
Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. I sent an email to ask to go and look around, Dave called me the same day and we discussed my requirements. I was initially looking at the Peugeot 2008. Dave said he'd have both the 2008 and 3008 version available for me me to look at.
I went in the following day and met Dave who was super friendly and knowledgeable. A genuinely nice guy.
After looking at both versions I decided I preferred the 3008 version so Dave showed me one in the showroom, there was no rush and he answered all of my questions.
We then went on a test drive and it confirmed I'd made the right decision with the 21 plate 3008. Back to the showroom and Dave made some phonecall to source a car as it had to be brand new, I chose my colour in a metallic crystal dark grey/silver with upgraded pack as that's what I'd fallen in love with ????.
Dave explained there was a national shortage due to I think it was a chip or something and many were on new build from the manufacturers with 4 to 5 months wait time. I'm not that patient and after falling for the car was desperate to get one earlier.
Dave was amazing and made some phonecall and managed to get me one to be delivered to the showroom 2 weeks later. After leaving he called me later that afternoon to give me the reg number.
He rang me several times to keep me updated and on collection day when I arrived there was my beautiful shiny new car ready and waiting. Dave showed me around it, even setting up my phone. All this despite him getting soaked as it was pouring down with rain.
The following day Dave rang as a courtesy call to check I was happy with my new car.
Overall I had an excellent experience with Robins and Day Peugeot dealers in Preston but especially with Dave and would highly recommend them, in fact I've already done so to friends getting a new car in the near future. I hope the managers realise what an asset to the company he is. No pushiness, no sales patter, just honest and professional service from a genuinely helpful and friendly salesman.
That time has come
That time has come. The car has got to that age when it retains good trade in value with low mileage. Research and a good look round then back to where we have bought 8 previous cars.
Redditch Citroen unfailingly comes up trumps again with personal interaction answering all the questions without pressure sales talk. To be recommended to anyone.

I recently purchased a car from Robbins…
I recently purchased a car from Robbins and Day Hatfield Herts. First contact was a little difficult but The Senior Salesman Peter proved very helpful and understanding. Unfortunately, after inspection upon receipt of the vehicle it was found that the valeting had left a lot to be desired. After sending photos R&D acknowledged the failure of service collected the vehicle and gave me a loan vehicle until the car was re valeted.
This was very good customer service which was appreciated.
Peugeot e-2008
Excellent experience buying our first electric car from Robins & Day, Preston. Gary Claridge-king spent a lot of time explaining the pros and cons of running an electric car and going through the features of the e-2008. We felt ready to hit the road when we picked it up, the Pod Point tethered charger had been fitted the same day and the car’s been a joy to drive. Great coffee at the showroom too.

Great experience
Great experience, I have got a couple of cars from this dealership and I would always go back to them. The team especially Mark are courteous and professional and I never feel pushed into deal I don’t feel 100% comfortable with. Would recommend without hesitation.
