I found that they had the type of car I was looking for.Not many are for sale apparently. When I went I found they had about 6 of them. Condition and prices were very good and of course it feels safer buying from a first-class dealer like this. The salespeople were entirely helpful and knowledgeable and the deal was done by Darren who could not have been more efficient and pleasant.

The salesman gave me all the time I needed to look at the model I was interested in, sit in it, show me some dash functions, took me out for a test drive and checked my car over for part exchange value/condition. He was polite, offered me coffee and talked me through in plain language regards my purchase/contract. I felt well looked after and walked away extremely happy that I was able to purchase the car I wanted and to my surprise the top specification model.

Lovely staff and Michael made buying my first car a wonderful experience and made it very straight forward throughout the process. I was made to feel welcome by Michael as soon as I stepped through the store and I will definitely be recommending Michael in the future.

A couple of weeks ago I went searching for a new car. Autotrader led me to a car I liked being sold by Robins & Day in Redditch. I made a quick call to them to check the car was still available, it was and I was informed that if I made a £99 deposit the car would be reserved for up to a week. I couldn't go that day so made the deposit through the website, after payment went through the car showed as reserved on their website, and a check on Autotrader showed the listing as removed also. Great! The car is being held for me to go the next day. Next day I travel up and meet Jack Holden the salesman, really friendly and down to earth chap. He informs me he has already bought the car round to front, takes me to it and leaves me to have a look over it. I look over it for about 5-10 mins and he pops back, all looks good just like in the pictures, so we go for a test drive. No hard sell, just chatting away. After a trip around the block taking in some local roads and a bit of dual carriageway to test the car all seems well. When we get back he asks me what I think, I decide to buy it. From looking around at all their other cars in the forecourt they all seem in very good, nearly new condition. So we get down to business, I want to trade in a Renault Clio, Jack talks to his boss and manages to get me a fair price considering i'm not selling it privately but to a dealer (less hassle) so I'm happy. The price of the car i'm buying is already reasonable when comparing on Autotrader, so not much wiggle room there, however he manages to get me a tank of fuel. Really you're probably paying a few hundred more than buying the car privately, however its worth the piece of mind buying from a dealer. They won't sell the car until it's been thoroughly checked by their 'makeready' workshop where they carry out a number of checks and service the vehicle before signing it off for sale. They also provide a 12month warranty for further piece of mind where you can take it to any Citroen dealer, handy considering I live about 90miles away from this dealer. At the end after paying the remaining balance, Jack informed me it would be a few hours for the admin team to sort all the paperwork out. I needed it done quite quick though as I wanted to drive the car away that day due to the distance travelled and had work later that day. He had a word and managed to get it done faster for me which I appreciated! So all in all a very pleasant experience, came away not feeling ripped off, experienced great customer service, own a nice shiny 3yr old, 1 previous owner 'minibus' otherwise known as a Grand Picasso! 2 weeks later the car drives great, everything works as it should and its in showroom condition, and if anything does go wrong that's not my fault I know I have 1 year of warranty to cover it. So to sum up, I would highly recommend Robins & Day Redditch, they have a great team, great cars, friendly, professional and reasonably priced! Usually I check Autotrader for cars, but in the future if I need another car i'll check them out first. That online reservation is great. Just 1 minor point, a baby changing table in the toilets would be good! ;) cheers.

I have bought a year old ds7 ultra prestige and had a few concerns I road tested the car concerned and was happy with it and was then offered a 24 hr test drive in one not the ultra but prestige just the same after which made me more convinced I had made the right choice , there was no pressure from anybody even when I asked for a further test drive in the ultra , the kind of service I appreciate thank you and kind regards Ken Crombie
