Peugeot And Citroën Support Government Investment In Electric Van Grant

Peugeot And Citroën Support Government Investment In Electric Van Grant

    18 May 2026

The extension of the grant, which will continue until at least the end of the 2026/2027 financial year, reinforces the government’s support for the transition to electric light commercial vehicles and provides businesses with additional confidence to electrify their fleets.

Both brands continue to offer comprehensive electric van line-ups, with all eligible vehicles benefitting from significant upfront savings through the grant, which is automatically applied by retailers at the point of sale.

Greg Taylor, Managing Director, Citroën UK, said: “We’re encouraged to see the government increasing its support for the shift to electric vehicles in the light commercial vehicle segment, making going electric more accessible. Ongoing backing for the Zero Emissions Van Grant plays an important role in helping businesses of all sizes feel reassured as they transition to fully electric fleets and we are proud to offer four electric vehicles eligible for the grant, providing greater choice and accessibility for our customers.

Nicola Dobson, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK, said: “We welcome the increased investment from the government to support the transition to electric in the light commercial vehicle sector. Continued funding for the Zero Emissions Van Grant will help give businesses the confidence they need to move towards fully electric fleets. PEUGEOT continues to offer a fully electric version of every van model in our line-up, all of which are eligible for the Zero Emissions Van Grant, ensuring customers have the widest possible choice.
