The Leapmotor T03 has won a top award at the prestigious ECOBEST Challenge 2025. Organised by AUTOBEST international independent organisation, ECOBEST advises European car buyers about the true efficiency and use of the latest pure electric cars.The test was performed on the Leapmotor T03 at the end of May 2025, which was a new edition to the ECOBEST Challenge.15 new electric vehicles from 15 different manufacturers went through seven different tests. In a rigorous real-world test, the Leapmotor T03 emerged as a standout performer, setting new benchmarks in electric mobility.

A Historic Achievement in Real-World Range: The Leapmotor T03 made history by achieving an EcoC 1 index of 109.43%, meaning its real-world driving range exceeded the official WLTP range - a first in the history of the ECOBEST Challenge. The Leapmotor T03 covered an impressive 180 miles, surpassing its WLTP-rated 165-mile range.

Class-Leading Energy Efficiency: In the EcoC 2 index, which measures how many kilometres a car can drive per kilowatt-hour of battery, the Leapmotor T03 delivered a remarkable 5 miles/kWh, placing it second only to the Dacia Spring and making it one of the most energy-efficient electric vehicles ever tested in the challenge.

Best Overall Real-Life Efficiency: Leapmotor T03 also topped the EcoC 4 index, which combines driving and charging efficiency, with a leading score of 4.2 miles per real kWh charged—proving it to be the most efficient EV in terms of real-world energy use.
