Leapmotor has announced that its one millionth car has rolled off the production line, making it the second new car manufacturer in China to enter the "Million Club".
The significance of this achievement is the brand’s pace to reach this milestone. Leapmotor went from 500,000 to one million cars in just 343 days, setting a record as the fastest Chinese new car company to achieve a one million car output.Not only that, but September also saw a record month for Leapmotor, delivering 66,657 units in China (including total domestic and export sales) and +17% compared to the previous mouth. That is almost double year-on-year performance, and breaks through the 60,000 mark for the first time in a month.
In the third quarter of 2025, Leapmotor delivered a record of 173,852 vehicles (including total domestic and export sales), representing a 102% year-on-year increase. The September result also takes Leapmotor’s 2025 year-to-date deliveries to 395,516 vehicles (including total domestic and export sales), a 129% increase when compared to the same period last year.From January to August 2025, the total deliveries of Leapmotor exceeded 320,000 units, continuing to top the sales list of China's new power brands, and the monthly sales volume has been at the top of the list for six consecutive months.
Leapmotor will also be shortlisted for the Fortune China 500, China's Top 500 Private Enterprises, and China's Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, in 2025.This success demonstrates the explosive growth of Leapmotor's production capabilities, its ability to scale, and the brand’s global market recognition. It also shows that Leapmotor has successfully passed through the start-up period and has steadily entered a new stage of large-scale high-quality development.
The Grand Slam-style recognition, from technological research and development and market performance to operation and management, confirms Leampmotor’s position in the market as a mature and large enterprise. Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman and CEO of Leapmotor, said: "It’s taken us five years to achieve the roll-off from the first Leapmotor S01 to the 500,000th car. In less than a year, we’ve completed the roll-off from 500,000 to one million units, which shows that the acceleration of Leapmotor's development has become faster and faster. We hope that in the coming year, we can also witness the next one million Leapmotor cars rolling off the assembly line here.”
The global delivery volume of the C10 exceeded 160,000 units in the 17 months since its launch in May last year, and now it’s been the sales leader amongst mid-sized SUVs from new power brands for four consecutive months.
The B10 was globally launched in April this year, and in May, more than 10,000 units have been delivered. To date the B10 has cumulative sales of more than 60,000 units.
In September, Leapmotor's B05 made its debut at the Munich IAA Mobility 2025 motor show. Combining an aesthetics that’s futuristic but grounded in urban style, European-style driving controls, flagship intelligence, and high quality, the B05 will become the first choice for urban trendy youth travel. B05 is due to be launched in China in the fourth quarter of 2025 and launched globally in 2026, with its high-performance Ultra version also expected to be released in China in the first half of 2026.
