Citroën Opens Orders For New Ë-C3 Van, Available For Under £20,000

Citroën has announced the opening of orders for its fully electric New ë-C3 Van. With this latest addition to its electric light commercial vehicle (e-LCV) line-up, Citroën is set to revolutionise the car-derived van segment, providing a practical and affordable, fully electric solution to businesses across the UK.

Based on the PLUS specification of New ë-C3, but with only the front seats, New ë-C3 Van features a full-height mesh and solid bulkhead as well as a mid-height load cover. With a 300kg payload and a load volume of 730 litres under the load cover, or 1,220 litres without it, New ë-C3 Van’s load area is a generous 1.2 metres long and 1 metre wide (at floor level). As a result, New ë-C3 Van is spacious, versatile, and practical.

Additionally, New ë-C3 Van’s ultra-low running costs make it ideal for city and suburban deliveries, whether single-journey courier or multi-package. New ë-C3 Van likewise establishes itself as the perfect companion for small businesses, efficiently transporting those who need to move things around town or between sites.

New ë-C3 Van boasts the same class-leading comfort as the passenger version, courtesy of Advanced Comfort® seats and Advanced Comfort® suspension with progressive hydraulic cushions. It also comes with the same benchmark features as the PLUS version of ë-C3, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, Citroën Head-Up Display, LED headlights, cruise control and rear parking sensors. New ë-C3 Van is fitted with 17-inch steel wheels with wheel trims – a practical design choice that keeps refurbishment costs low yet does not compromise on style.

Citroën’s ë-C3 range ensures efficiency across its car and van models. New ë-C3 Van features the same 44kWh battery, offering a 200-mile range (WLTP Combined) – 60 miles more than its closest competitor. The ability to charge from 20-80% in approximately 26 minutes on a 100kW DC rapid charger ensures less downtime and, therefore, greater profitability for operators.

New ë-C3 Van is available to order now from £22,437 OTR MRRP (£19,937 after Plug-in Van Grant). Citroën now offers three electric commercial vehicles with starting prices under £30,000, with New ë-C3 Van sitting alongside My Ami Cargo Kit solution and ë--Berlingo Van, making the transition to electric more accessible.
