Abarth appears alongside Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One

11 September 2023

Abarth came to the premiere of the next installment of the Mission: Impossible film saga, held in Rome on the 19th June. Abarth showcased the 500e, a car that maintains the brand's typical performance and driving pleasure, making "the impossible possible".

Abarth appeared alongside Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One at the premiere of the greatly anticipated next installment of the franchise, written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. The event occured on the 19th June in the stunning setting of Rome, with other locations in which the film was shot, such as London, Abu Dhabi, and others, following. The film, from Paramount Pictures and Skydance, opened in cinemas worldwide on July 12th.

Two main characters shared the spotlight during the premiere: the legendary 1960s Fiat 500 Abarth starred in the stunning Piazza di Spagna, which enthusiasts immediately recognized from one of the flim's climactic scenes; and the New Abarth 500e, an irreverent and fully electric model with an appealing sharp design, which was located in front of the red carpet leading to the auditorium.

This merger is far from a coincidence - Abarth has always been synonymous with thrilling driving experiences akin to those moviegoers will enjoy in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One. The collaboration came out of a desire to demonstrate the common feelings that both brands have always shared and expressed: exciting driving, adrenaline, power, and extraordinary performance.

These values will be narrated in detail in 'Mission Possible', an exciting new TV spot created in partnership with the newest installment of Mission: Impossible, with whom Abarth shares its core tenets. The New Abarth 500e's launch is a true demonstration that an exciting, emotional, and fun to drive electric Abarth is indeed a possible mission to achieve. Darting through the mazy streets of Rome, the original 1960s model transforms into the new electric model, expressing, in pure “Mission: Impossible Style”, the brand’s attitude to get “extra performance” out of normal cars, and showing just how exciting and powerful this electric Abarth is.
