We dealt with Gary Foster at the Nottingham branch who was fantastic. He listened and found us exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience for my Mum who was recently widowed and very nervous about buying a new car. We would certainly revisit the branch as all of the sales team were friendly and helpful in Gary’s abscence when we had questions. Very impressed by the 2 female sales staff. I bought my car from Robins & Day in Hillsborough, Sheffield, following my being let down by a different local main dealer. The 2 car buying experiences were like Night and Day ( never mind Robins and Day) The sales person was frank, professional and really helpful. She did not make false promises and openly said she would have to find out a piece of information that I asked her for. It was a breath of fresh air to speak to someone who did not make false promises and was honest about needing to check the answer to my query. The sales style was clear and concise there was no hard sell, and I was offered plenty of opportunity to consider my options. I was treated very well on my initial visit to Robin and Day Erdington branch. Richard was very helpful and patient with us in finding a vehicle that suited our need and budget. He even offered us his car which was the same car we were looking at. He explained all the pro and cons in relation to our current vehicle (kia sportage). the new car we were looking at was a citroen c5 aircross hybrid. we wanted to upgrade with Kia to get an automatic car and a car with better break horse power than the Kia we have currently and the C5 delivers that plus its a hybrid which is even better. we were not rushed into making a deal on the spot. we were encouraged to go away and think about the car and come back anytime we wanted to test drive again. Although Richard was not working on the day we wanted to seal the deal, Tara took over and was very efficient in making the deal and explaining the ins and outs of it all. a very professional set up. highly recommended. well done both of you Tara and Richard4 years agoSmooth transaction
