Amazing service by Kasia

My Peugeot 3008 (PureTech 1.20, ~54k miles) recently went into limp mode with high oil pressure and engine fault warning lights on. I booked the car in with my regular and trusted dealership, Stellantis &You Brentford, for investigation, which I was told would cost £180. On the day of handing over the car, I was very fortunate to be assisted by Kasia. I was warmly welcomed, checked the car in, and had the process explained to me fully. She was highly efficient and professional—an amazing experience! Kasia did a fantastic job coordinating between myself, her colleagues in the workshop, and management. She kept me constantly updated throughout the process. The investigation revealed that the issue was caused by the premature cracking and decomposing of the cambelt, with the debris clogging the strainer. This is a well-documented issue with some PureTech engines, and car manufacturers have implemented a warranty extension that, under certain conditions, covers 100% of the costs and expenses to repair or replace the previous generations of PureTech 1.00 and 1.20 engines. In my case, the cambelt debris may have reached some critical engine components, leading the dealership to prescribe an engine replacement, which was subsequently accepted by the manufacturers. The engine replacement was eventually carried out by the dealership, and I have absolutely no doubt that this could not have been achieved without Kasia’s assertive advocacy for this outcome. The one caveat in the process was that I was charged £900+VAT for admin and “full investigation stripping” to compile the information required to enable the manufacturers to authorize the replacement of the engine. I am still a little confused as to why these costs are not covered by the manufacturer’s extended warranty, but I absolutely cannot fault the dealership for seeking to recover them from me. I did pay these costs to the dealership under formal protest, so that I may try to recover them from the manufacturers. That said, I am completely satisfied with the way Stellantis &You Brentford handled the issue and I continue to be a happy customer of theirs.

Nothing is too much trouble

I have purchased a new second hand car today, and from the first phone call to picking up my new car today everything has gone so smoothly. Mr Paul Philips has made this purchase very easy for me and nothing was too much trouble, first class service from a first class garage, well worth the day out.

Peugeot Coventry

We had a couple of faults showing on display screen re. 'Tyre pressures low, check and reset' and 'Parking brake fault, contact dealer', so I made arrangements with Service Dept. Stellantis Citreon/Peugeot Coventry for them check system. We were away in Lancashire at this time, so made appointment for when we were back at home. I decided to wait for the work needed to be carried out rather than return later, had a coffee whilst waiting and had a chat with the sales staff. The time passed quickly and before long I was on my way back home, with the added bonus of not needing to wash my car (which was needed) because it came back to me sparkling clean. Brilliant service from everybody involved.

Nicolo, I wanted to fire you a quick message to say thanks for the excellent support when I brought in my Alfa Veloce for warranty work to sort some odd electrical warnings. From the minute I arrived you were the perfect host and kept me in the picture with what was happening, as well as finding me a transport solution. As I understand it, the problem (rather bizarrely) was in the seat belt system, and I am awaiting news that the spares have arrived and are ready to be fitted. So I will see you then!

Really Good slaesman

I had looked at the Peugeot 208 in the adverts and went to Peugeot Wimbledon on a Friday afternoon and spoke to Robert who was really helpful and i placed the order there and then, but i needed the pick to be 2 weeks after as i was starting to move to Manchester and this would be my first visit to the new house. He bent over backwards to get the car sorted and was really good and I was sorted so quickly. He has been in contact on a few times to keep me updated as to what the status was and after the sale he has rang a few times to see if everything was going ok. Can say how easy this was and a really nice salesman for a change.
